Bill Jarcho is a director who utilizes all manner of animation techniques,
effects, props, and puppetry in his projects. With over 25 years of
professional experience in the film, video, and animation biz, he has a
delight for creating work that¹s smart, funny and surprising.
Bill was co-founder and creative director of Olive Jar Studios in Boston; producers of many early MTV and Nickelodeon spots, as-well-as music videos, and TV commercials. He then worked for Will Vinton Studios in Portland Oregon where he directed episodes of the PJ’s (a nationally broadcast animated series on Fox TV). Eight years ago he opened up Bill Jarcho Pictures and has designed and directed corporate video “openers” for Microsoft, a number of educational videos for The Committee for Children, and a wide variety of other projects for the corporate world.
He also teaches performance and animation at The Digipen Institute of Technology and is a puppeteer and cartoonist on the side.
He lives and works on sunny Vashon Island, near Seattle, WA
